SAP has once again demonstrated it's leadership in the Enterprise Applications space by releasing Business ByDesign. I have seen the product and it can be configured per industry vertical. Best for SMB's who have overgrown in size and lack a process infrastructure.

SAP has put a lot of effort in all it's products. I don't say SAP has poor offers. But in my opinion the core product is still R/3 however named today. It's strength is the support for multinational corporations and the finance and controlling modules.

SAP has put a lot of effort in the design of A1S - SAP Business ByDesign.

They have shown an indept understanding of the SMB sector in the past and the release of the product recently has confirmed the commitment that SAP has shed the shadow of software only for big companies. We are eager to see the uptake of the product here in SA.
